Handmade Tiles
A truly handmade tile is produced entirely by hand—from forming the bisque to preparing and applying the glazes and colours. We rarely use industrially manufactured coloured glazes.
We always use our own studio-made stain glazes, drawing on years of experience to develop and apply them.
Our tiles are made from iron-rich red clay rather than white clay. This creates a sturdy tile and gives the glaze colours greater depth, resulting in more natural, earthy and organic variations. Each tile is therefore unique in colour, texture and character.
